POINT-OF-RENTAL™
Software is
menu driven and designed to fit the
equipment rental
process. Even if you have
used other rental management
software, it does take time to
get comfortable with it and to
appreciate all the features. Experienced rental counter
personnel will be writing simple
contracts in thirty minutes or
less. Learning all the
nuances of rental and sale
transaction processing including
sales, quotes, reservations,
billing and purchase orders generally requires
about eight hours.
In addition to
transaction processing, the
software is designed to
comprehensively manage your
business and learning these
features including accounts
receivable, inventory control
and database management requires
an additional day.
The amount of training time
required is dependent upon the
size of your company and the
depth of our system capabilities
that you require. A small rental
store with 2-10 employees and at
a single location can be
functionally trained in two
days. A larger operation will
take more time simply due to the
number of employees and the
increased demands of
multiple-locations.
Training time is purchased along
with the initial system and the
number of days is determined by
the salesperson and your
company. Additional training can
be purchased at a later date for
enhancing your company’s
capabilities or to train new
employees. The first 90 days of
our toll free telephone software
support service are included at
no additional cost with the
initial purchase of your initial POINT-OF-RENTAL™
System software
license. Customers electing to
continue our software support
service may call in at any time
with questions or concept
clarifications.
Training Location Options
At Our Offices
At least two days of training at
our office are included when you
purchase your initial
POINT-OF-RENTAL™
Software base
license. One or more of your
employees will come to our
training facilities located near
the Dallas - Fort Worth
International (DFW) airport.
The dates of training must be
mutually agreed upon at least
two weeks prior to the start of
your training. We’ll
configure POINT-OF-RENTAL™
software, with
your database loaded into it, up
on the big screen projector,
cover all the bases and you
return home ready to start using
your system.
At Your Store
We will send at least one
trainer to your store(s) for
training and “cross-over” from
your old system to
POINT-OF-RENTAL™. This method is
optional and is available for an
additional fee to cover our
costs of having the trainer(s)
in travel status. Travel,
hotel
and rental car costs will be
billed separately after the
training has been completed.
Supplemental Training at the
Annual ARA Show
Every year, our sales &
technical staff hosts a
User Meeting at The Rental Show
(ARA). This four to five hour meeting
typically covers new features
recently released and covers
subjects such as POINT-OF-RENTAL™
database
management and using historical
data harvested by the system for
trend analysis. At the end of
the presentations users can meet
with our representatives on a one on
